Sasha Kusnetz Thank you for the information. I'll check it out. Even though it's far from Edgewood, it's worth a shot. I don't know what happened to him. He disappeared under strange circumstances, and with a neighbor that doesn't like him, it makes it even worse. It's like he walked off into thin air. Thanks again, I'll let you know how it goes

I did also go back less than 2-3 minutes after spotting the cat when I could put my dog away and searched for a solid 10-15 minutes from around the site that’s fenced but didn’t see anything. Again, it’s a massive construction site with a ton of easy hiding spots, so the cat could be hiding out there too. We don’t have any outdoor cats on my block, so it’s rare to see a kitty running around in the general area.

Martin Brody yes! this is at the very end of broadway near the Aldo baseball field off of Barton st in Providence . I was walking my dog on the track around the field and she saw a cat, he hopped up on the fence and ran into the construction site (a school is being built on Barton st and off of Westminster, the area is fenced off) I left a can of cat food in the general area where I thought the cat was hanging out. It might also be worth trying to contact the construction office on site to ask for them to keep an eye out. It’s good bit away from where it seems he went missing from, but you never know. The area that’s fenced off for construction has plenty of good hiding spots. I live in the neighborhood so will keep an eye out too

Sandy Tavares Thanks for the info. I can do everything except the food. Too many raccoons. Between the possum and the raccoons, the food is gone within the hour. I've been leaving my shoes on the steps because he loves to rub all over them when they're in the house, and as far as the cat crying in the distance, I could never find its location. I would look for him between midnight and 5:30 a.m.. I've been working on 3 to 4 hours sleep, every night, for a month. Tonight, and last night, are the first two nights where I've heard nothing. I went through every shed, under every deck I could think of. My worst fear is finding him and realizing he was under your nose the entire time. I pray that never happens. Thanks for the advice
