Message from Finder

I will be taking it to be checked for a chip tomorrow 9/22. I cannot keep it until the owner is found and will be taking it to the animal shelter if the owner is not found tomorrow. Very sweet and very scared with a lot of hair so I have not checked to see if it’s a girl or a boy yet.

Be sure to post on Elk Grove lost and found pet Facebook groups there are 2, put on Nextdoor App and Neighborsring App.In ALL posts put FOUND With date, time, year did, put area with nearest cross streets. Also put MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF OWNERSHIP.FYI if that's the borderline and considered Sacramento County you will need to take to Bradshaw shelter, if considered Elk Grove jurisdiction then of course Elk Grove

There was a similar dog missing a few days ago, but owner stated they found him. Hopefully this isn't the same one.

I can foster this dog until the owner is found. Maybe ask Elk Grove Laguna Forums for help since they have active members that are constantly in the page. I will go to the dog park tomorrow and ask around. This dog looks like the ones that usually go there.
