Please place its bedding 🛏 outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a contents of tuna can 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vaccumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors 🖼picture of the🐈 cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Also, you can put up a Sign post 🪧with your 🐱📷 picture. In front of your 🏡lawn and to call you or contact you ASAP. Go early ⏰️ in the ☀️morning 🌄 and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera / Baby monitor 📹 to monitor and see & hear if the cat is around your house 🏡. You can even ask your Local Pet 🐱 Animal Shelter to Rent out a Safe Trap and monitor it.. Praying for a soon safe return 🍀 of your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Here is some additional insights from Babs Fry who is simply amazing and relocating lost pets. What I did not know is that walking around at night with lights calling their names actually triggers the cat to go into hiding mode as it could feel it’s being tracked or hunted. Never knew this! Tips from Babs: Here is what I suggest for missing cats. Stop tracking that’s hunting and will keep the cat, moving it survives by being aloof, evasive, and sensitive to his surroundings. Use things that would be familiar to them the sound of a can opener opening a can of tuna shaking a treat bag so on and so forth Keep doors or windows open so that if the cat returns it has immediate and free access to the property. Put dirty litter box outside. Put some of your dirty laundry outside. Put sardines or mackerel outside once it gets dark. Put another pet if you have one in a secure carrier outside overnight with supervision if they are old enough to be safe. Embark on a massive PR campaign making sure everyone is aware of the cat and it gone on social media next door Craigslist Facebook and pawboost as well as posters Do NOT Try to catch or chase your cat. Every interaction should be passive and engagement needs to be initiated by the cat. if you get a confirmed sighting of the cat let me know and I can work with you to set up cameras and a trap. DO NOT SET TRAPS WITHOUT TALKING TO ME. It is not go fish with traps and you run the risk of making your cat trap avoidant or pushing it out of the area altogether by setting traps inappropriately or prematurely.

LOST CAT OPEN DOOR Scatter the contents of your hoover bag around the outside boundary of your home - they can scent their way home from miles away, using the familiar smell of your home. If putting out clothing make sure that it hasn’t been washed so that it smells of “you”. Going out late at night/ early morning when it is quieter and less noise distraction around will make it easier for you to hear each other’s calls. If you are calling for him make sure you do this as you walk towards your home not away from it so that if he follows the direction of your voice you’re leading him home, not further away. Also ask any neighbours to check their sheds/ outbuildings in case he’s been inquisitive and got trapped inside somewhere. If he is an indoor cat he is likely scared and hiding somewhere very close by - look under/behind any items/objects that he may be seeking shelter from - under bushes, behind bins etc. when searching at night take a torch - the light from its beam will reflect in his eyes and you will be able to spot him even if he doesn’t respond to your calls. Put up posters in all surrounding streets and inform the microchip company that he is missing.Put out water, and some of YOUR dirty clothes (dirty socks are nice and stinky)/blankets (dry in dryer first to enhance smell). Depending on the weather, you might want to put out a plastic tub with straw for shelter. Go out every morning and evening walking (folks seem successful around 10:30 p.m., but don't go alone) with food/treats in bowl rattling it, calling your cats name. Cats are often hiding within a 5-house radius. Do NOT give up. There was a cat a week or so ago, they went out every night for 5 nights, finally on the 5th night, they heard it's meow, it was trapped in a neighbor's shed. Another was hiding in a tree from the neighbor's dogs. Check buildings, bushes, trees, and storm drains around your house. Also in the house/garage, keep all doors/closets OPEN in case it's hiding in the house. If you can, leave door cracked open from which cat would most likely sneak back in during the night. If desperate, sprinkle your urine near the cracked door as stronger scent guidance. Worked for us!

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
