General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood 2X DAILY, DAY & NIGHT, CHECK BUSHES 1st!!! Check window wells, under decks, sheds, garages, behind AC units, dumpsters, under staircases, under BBQ covers, behind firewood. Indoor Cats don't go far, usually close by. Others hide during the day and roam @ night when it's quiet. Shake bag of cat food or treats, walking, calling by name, saying are u hungry, Bring a flashlight, search day & night. Knock on neighbor's doors. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

🚨 Cats don't go far from their home, Please do this Search your property thoroughly, look in crawl spaces, in, under, behind your shed, under the porch, under the house, under the deck. Post on Nextdoor in Cat Owner's group, and in Lost and Found Pets group, post on Neighbors app, they're both good resources to notify the community you don't need a Ring camera to post on Neighbors. Petcolovelost 24Petconnect are good sources to search and post on, too, they also offer free flyers for download. Many animal shelters and animal control services post their animals on Pawboost Petcolovelost and 24PETCONNECT, but don't rely on online, go into the shelter a couple of times a week to look through the cages, bring proof of ownership; Pictures, most recent vet bills

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to him and making a familiar sound. Ask neighbors if they might have seen him, and when they last did and which direction he headed if they have. If they have security cameras, video footage would help. Ask them if he might be trapped in their garage or shed. I hope he is found soon🙏🏻
