Message from Owner

My cat did not come home , he is never out this long and especially not during bad weather. I am scared something has happened or he wondered too far. He usually avoids people but is mostly very relaxed. He likes to eat around 5 pm every day. He’s never been gone this long before please let me know if you see him.

Keep a close daily check on your local county animal services website, under their Found Pets section. Hopefully, the cat has a microchip that will help a lot too.

I'm sorry your beautiful fluffy brown tabby and white cat with a ticked coat has failed to return home. You say Sosuke is intact, so perhaps nature called him away from home, so in addition to what I'm about to suggest, make sure to use signs, flyers and Nextdoor to alert everyone in the area that he's missing -- he may be far from home so you want as many eyes as possible looking for him. In addition, thoroughly search using a flashlight during the day and especially at dusk (when it's dark and quiet) to determine whether he’s ill or injured and hiding nearby, or stuck somewhere. Check every crack and crevice, look in outbuildings, containers, vehicles, under foundations, sheds and porches, into trees, etc. — call and listen carefully for Sosuke’s cries (he may alert you to his location). And it’s important to ask neighbors to do the same and make sure Sosuke didn’t hide and became trapped in a shed or garage, etc. Please see this list of step-by-step instructions developed to help others in this situation (click on the link) and let me know if you have questions. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10236753035464835&set=p.10236753035464835&type=3 In addition, this video explains the temperament and behavior of a lost cat — it may instill hope of finding Sosuke. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2eCoC63B9I Good luck. Please keep us posted on your progress.
