Put Flyers Up Everywhere! Pet Stores, Shopping Centers and On Signposts and Lamp Posts Message Boards saying You Lost Your Cockatiel. Put Food and Water Out around where Your Bird is So it can Eat and Drink. Or it will die of Dehydration & Starvation. Had Fed Bird’s do not know how and where to forage and Find Water and Food. If you put food and Water in Dishes like His usual Cage Dishes IfHes Frantically Flying around Searchibg for his home and You He will See things that Look Like His Water Dishes and Food Dishes. See if it He come to you if you hold food and water… and Call to Him. Play Sound Video of Your Cockatiel Calls Around the Streets You Lost Your Precious Bird to see if it will come to you. Call Vets especially Avain Vets they might have a Missing Lost and Found Bird List: Ask Neighbors and Friends to Help to see if they know where your baby might be whistling or Calling and Flying Around... Many of Parrots 🦜 and Cockatiels etc… Can live into their 20’s some Parrots 🦜 into their 40 and Some Birds into their 60’s to 80’s with care. And these Parrots, Hook Bill Birds like Cockatiels bond with their owners deeply likely someone dearly loved the little bird and he loves them usually lost Bird’s only go accidentally… Once lost these Birds become disoriented when they got into the vast world. They are intelligent and loyal creatures. They will be looking and listening for You to be Calling Out to Them and they will Respond to You whistling and playing Their Parrot and Cockatiels etc…Contact Calls! Your Bird will be Desperate to Find You and to Be Found! Call Around where You Lost Him Make a Tape of Your Voice and Play it while Looking! Play Videos You Have of Their Sounds on Your Phone! Time is of the Essence! They will become Dehydrated and Hungry Very Quickly and they can be easy Prey for Predators like Hawks, Cats Dogs Etc… Often Lost Bird’s can be reunited with their owners but it important they get vet care if they have become injured or dehydrated etc… So when you find Him/Her if possible have him/her checked over at an Avian Vet as soon as You find Him. Also Local Avian Vets May have Lists of Lost and Found bird info. and a list of people who do take care for Lost Birds while trying to find their owners. As well as SPCA and City Halls etc.. Call some Avian Vets for Extra Advice. Maybe they can recommend someone who fosters Found Lost Bird’s. I Pray someone will find your Precious Cockatiel bird or You find him keep looking for him/her Several Times a Day as Much Time as Possible and Get Family and Friends to Look and Neighbors too! Have people ride bikes calling out where you lost the bird! Put Fliers Everywhere! Your Bird Needs Help To Survive. Check with Helping Hands Bird’s & SPCA I had 2 Beloved Cockatiels One I Lost to the Outside for a Few Hours But I Got Him Back Same Day with Diligence He Lived to Nearly 24 And the Other was a Lost Bird… I Found and I got him A Little Vet Care and He Was Well. I also FOUND the Owner But Her Health Prohibited Her from Continuing to Care for Him so She Asked Me to Become His Parent. He Lived to Over 24 Years Old. I also found another Cockatiel And I Found His Owner and the were Reunited. And I Found a Parakeet and Fostered Him for the Remainder of His Years. @Rachel Lorentzen, I'm sending you love and positive thoughts during this difficult time. I've shared your post, and I'm hoping that Chikkn will be back in your arms soon. My African Grey had a similar adventure recently, and I'm grateful that she's safe and sound. 🙏🏻💕

Brenda Marschner Pardon me for chiming in. No that's not the same bird. Did you find that one also today? I used to breed cockatiels. They're such great birds. I pray that both of these beautiful baby's make it back to their people soon!
