She is still missing. No harness on as she was not supposed to be out. I have posted everywhere. She is 2 years old but very tiny.

If she is an indoor only cat she will not go far. She is hiding close by and will be elusive. Walk up and down your neighborhood while shaking your favorite bag of food or treats or whatever brings your kitty running to you at all times of morning , day and night. You may also want to consider using one of those toy laser lights at night to bring your cat out of hiding. Knock on neighbor’s doors and give them a good contact number in case they see her. Very important in case they are stuck in a garage or shed or God forbid even hurt. Not everyone will see your fliers and post. If you have a garage or front door, leave it cracked open just enough for kitty and leave bedding or clothing that has your scent, also leave food and water, but be aware of predators. Remember in most cases, she will be close by, so don’t give up and keep looking. You may want to consider borrowing or buying a humane trap. Be persistent and consistent and most importantly, Don’t Stop Looking! Not all cats will just show up at your door. It took us over a month to get our kitty home with the help of neighbors. God Bless you and your fur babies. Be aware of scammers. They ask for number codes and money.

Lost Cat Tips * The most important thing is to start the search IMMEDIATELY. Keep in mind that cats tend to stay close to home. *Post pictures on Nextdoor dot com or app. It's a neighborhood app and posts to everybody in your ZIP code immediate neighborhood. * Report your cat as lost via the Animal Foundation website animal foundation dot com. *Post pictures of your baby on pawboost dot com, petharbor dot com and petfbi dot org. * Place your cat's tree house or bed/blanket that it sleeps on outside of your home. The scent will help guide him back or hang clothing that you have worn outside. *Google vets near you. 5-10 mile radius. Many people will take a cat to a vet to check for a microchip check & some vets will take possession of the animal or, have contact info for the person that found the cat. You can send a blanket email to all of them with pics and your contact info * Set food and water out for your cat, near the house's door unless you feel it might draw other predators. * Tell all of your neighbors. Ideally, print flyers with a clear color photo of your cat and words. CVS has a cell or PC site where you can load your pictures from either and then they will be ready in 1 hour. You can even have little postcards for posters made through CVS. On posters put "LOST CAT," and identifying info Provide several phone numbers to contact in case of sightings. * Contact your local shelter, e.g. The Animal Foundation (formerly Lied’s), NSPCA (formerly Dewey) and the Henderson shelter. * Walk around at all times of the day & night, calling their name, rattling favorite toys or treats.etc * If the kitty was shy, you may need to set humane traps. Keep in mind that most cats, when they get out of their home and familiar territory, become terribly frightened. More likely than not, your cat has found a safe place to hide and will stay there until the world quiets down. Many outdoor cats are most active in the middle of the night because the fewest people are out and about. Most of all, do not give up! Cats can return home within hours. They WANT to come home, so don't lose hope. 🐱🙏🏻💕
