Theresa Mosko he must be used to your area so I would continue with looking for him more night than day. Ask around with your neighbors. I'm praying your wonderful Mayor who hates cats and imposed that ridiculous fine for anyone caught feeding a stray cat will not find him first. I'd still bait a trap to see if you can catch him. Cover the trap with your towels or clothes that have your scent. Do not put his litter box outside...will attract predators. I check your posts daily to learn if you have caught him.

Sandra Figueiredo I rescued him from the outdoors when he was a kitten. He is micro chipped. And he bolted out the door. I have been leaving his blanket/toys outside along with some of my clothing that smells like me. He does respond to his name, and I have been leaving his food and treats outside, hoping that he would come back. I have looked during the day and nighttime even in the middle of the night

Theresa Mosko has he always been indoors? Did he just bolt out an open door or window? They typically stay within a 3 block radius...if they know the smells of their home. Why I ask if he is totally indoors. Is he microchipped? Sorry if others have asked these questions already, these just come to mind immediately. Will he respond to his name, or the opening of a cat food can, possibly clanking the lid against the can? Have you considered a Have-A-Heart trap (raccoon size)? Chicken from a place like PopEyes, Wendy's, etc throws a strong smell as does fresh tuna with liquid, water not oil. Yes I've done rescue and all I am saying has worked for me. Can you go out at night with a flashlight and look under shrubs for the cats eyes? Praying hard he finds his way back to you!!

Saw his picture on Home Again site. He's gorgeous. Prayers he finds you! Check around your home at night with a flashlight.

Some tips still apply 🐾 They usually don’t venture far. It’s probably scared & hiding near by in bushes or an open garage. Most kitties will stay put in their safe hiding spot. ( if they’re not fixed they can wonder further, depends on circumstances) Ask neighbors to check their sheds, decks, garages. They usually venture out at night after 24-48hrs when they start getting hungry. The “witching” hour when they come out is 3am. If you see your pet, don’t try to grab it, it’s still on survival mode and will run. Just sit down maybe with some treats and let your pet come to you. (Remember, never put the litterbox outside. Other cats will mark it & scare your cat away. Just in case, also set some humane traps near by, hide them in the bushes where your pet might hide. Good luck & don’t lose hope. Pray to St Anthony, he hasn’t let me down. 🙏🏻🐾
