Message from Owner

We were forced out of our home by police actions against our landlord. We were able to take Tiger in the truck as we left heading north 14 miles to a new place to park our trailer. Stopped at the gas station and she escaped like a shot the moment my husband opened the door. There had been no time to grab her crate. It took over 20 minutes but we got her to come back. Just as she got near to my side, the convenience store manager came and started yelling at us, saying we’d been there too long. Tiger got scared and ran, but we had to leave because he was calling the police! Terrified, we left and at first my husband wouldn’t go back. Two days later we walked along the road calling and then again in a few days. Tiger is very self-reliant and very shy. She would rarely allow anyone near enough to touch her tho she was friendly. I can imagine she found shelter in the woods, gave birth and fed herself with birds & mice or perhaps was brave and approached someone who took her in, I pray for this, but oh how we miss her and I cry almost everyday. We wish it was not so far to drive because we can’t afford the gas now. She was the most sweet, loyal and beatific kitty I’ve ever known. If anyone sees her I know that if you shake a bag of cat treats, she will definitely come near. Then please call me, I will come running!! Susan
