Description

"Honey" colored female shepard-mix. We're guessing 1-2 years old, 50-60 lbs. Has collar, no tags, no chip. Sweet and timid. NOT at all aggressive.

Message from Finder

This sweet pup is currently in our backyard but cannot stay here much longer. She turned up hiding in our front hedge earlier this week, and we eventually lured her out and carried to the backyard for food and water. Our fence is a mess, though, and cannot safely contain her. If you are her owner, you will know the color of her collar and/or have pictures of her.

This situation is SO frustrating. I've skimmed through hundreds of LOST dog photos. The one and only close match that I found was NOT for this sweet pup, and that pup's doggie folk (who came here and looked to be sure) could not take her as a foster because of their other dogs. Navigating the sign-up/registration process for the many and various lost pet/found pet websites is a PITA. Am mostly (now) trying to figure out how to spread the PawBoost listing more widely, because I am NOT willing to put my phone number all over the internet. We are doing the best we can for this very sweet doggo, but we cannot be her long-term home.

DEbbie Neuts and Sandy Marie Romo - I described her as "honey" colored mostly because HONEY is what I've been calling her. She is super-sweet, and I am hoping that her folks see this and show up ASAP. Mid-Saturday (10.03.2026) is the absolute latest that we can try tending to her in our yard.
