Message from Owner

Last seen on Colorado ct in south Gastonia in cedar grove neighborhood. Owners ring camera recorded him get attacked by an orange feral tomcat around 6am on Colorado ct on Thursday the 19th. So he may be injured. Goes by Gunther and Gunt Gunt. Has always been indoors so it is very important we find him as he is not experienced in survival ss. Will be scared. But is usually very sweet.

Tom Lancaster I’m worried he ran off and either or can’t get home due to his injuries, or the tomcat thats been staying on our street that attacked him ran him off so far he is too scared to return. He’s such a sweet little baby. I can’t stop thinking of His sweet little face being scared and hurt and alone and hungry. I’ve been hysterically crying all day.

Whitney McCallum Brewer sounds good. You’re doing the right things. Don’t give up looking for him. Hopefully he’s not injured too badly. He could be hiding under someone’s house or in their shed if he could get in.

Tom Lancaster got the clothing on the porch. I have spoken to all my neighbors and posted him on pawboost, ring/neighborhood app, Facebook, and checked the local shelter. I will put up posters tomorrow, I have to go get ink for my printer and it’s pouring rain right now anyway. I am going to go search for him with a flashlight tonight. He slipped out of the house Thursday morning, and according to our camera, a feral tomcat attacked him in our carport that same morning, and we haven’t seen him since.

Put out some worn clothing on your porch. Notify all your neighbors he is missing and ask them to check under their decks, house and in their garage and any outbuildings they might have. Put up posters with his picture and your phone number around your neighborhood. Posters work. Lots of people have found their cats because neighbors saw their posters. You might also want to go out and look after dark with a flashlight. They typically don’t stray too far from home.
