Message from Owner

Very, very friendly, often escapes to visit other hses who feed him, loves playing with the kids at Ashbury College. Seems to enjoy wandering and it's not uncommon to disappear for lengthy periods but usually returns. Seems to like rabbits (as friends, not food). Was wearing a red collar and tag, though we go through these at a fast rate. He is chipped.

Linda Vincent-Pelletier This cat is unfortunately allowed to roam and has disappeared for long times in the past…I think he’s going quite far, sadly.

Our pets expect us to protect them. As soon as you let them out the door they are facing many dangers, like wild animals, cars, psychos. Keep your pets safe inside.

Leave windows open and used laundry around your property. Let neighbors know and go door to door and check all shrubs, bushes, outbuildings, understairs and under decks in the area. Go out late at night with a bag of treats and a flashlight calling your cats name. Consider getting a trail cam to see if your kitty is coming to visit at night but unable to get close due to a new smell/cat/critter or predator. Call all local humane societies.

Lost cats don't go far. Go door to door in your neighbourhood and ask your neighbours to check their yards and sheds. Search at dusk or in the evening with a flash light. That will reflect in his eyes. Search under, behind, and in things...anywhere a cat would hide. Put unwashed laundry outside so he can get your scent to find his way home. DON'T PUT HIS LITTER OUT! That would attract predators. Put posters up in your neighbourhood. Not everyone is on Facebook. Also put posters up at local vets offices and animal hospitals. Often people who find cats take them to a vet to be checked for a microchip. If you can, leave your garage door open just a bit so he can get shelter. Post on all the lost pet sites you can find. I pray your boy gets home safely and soon.

Put a lost report into OHS s.s.a.p. if someone puts in a found report or brings him in, they'll make the match. No report, no match and they could adopt him out to someone else in as little as 3 days. Act fast!
