Message from Owner

o everybody, our Moustache Parrot Olly escaped Friday 4th July. He is super friendly and likely to land on you. He took off from Clontarf, vicinity BP Service station. He will be extremely scared and likely to land on your shoulder or head. Just put your finger out for him and say step up and he will. He will be extremely nervous so please be patient. He is extremely fast. He has never been out before and we are worried. Please call me direct if you manage to get him. He loves seed, fruit, especially passion fruit. He is very loved and missed. Please contact me if you have seen him or have found him; Warren

Nina Sunday I can relate to that, Buddy was our first Butcher bird years ago (male or female unsure) keeps visiting, now we also have one of their kids, steps up onto my hand and takes food, awesome experience. Thank you for caring.

Warren Green sounds possible. I feed 5 butcher birds twice a day so I might see Olly.

Nina Sunday, he is super friendly, use the words step up or come. He is free frighted and as long as he is not stressed he is super relaxed. He will be skittish so be patient. He loves fruit, apple, Blueberries, raspberries, passion fruit. I would show that to him, let him eat some and then show him you putting it into the cat carrier. Once he goes in in, close the door and put a towel over the carrier and call me, I work from home. Thank you for reaching out. He is a very dearly loved member of our family and during my conference calls is known in South Africa, Germany, and the US as he sits on my shoulder during conference calls.

I received your flyer in my letterbox parrallel to Macdonnell Road, and have placed it on my fridge so I have your number. But if he lands on my hand . . . then what? I have a cat carrier I could put him in . . . but how do I do that? Throw a towel over him? (But that's not very nice). I'll buy some parrot seeds to put in my tree and that might attract him. I wish you a little miracle. :-)

I lost my moustache parrot from Eagleby over a year ago. And I got him back a few days later. he was found on Ormeau. They can go far so make sure you check everywhere on post pet sites. Hope you find him. They are such sweet birds
