At least they posted a location. Most post don't add a location which could lead lost dog owners to wonder if it's their animal there in the photo. If the post is several states away it limits ownership and allows a lost dog owner the clear mind of knowing if it's their's or not. Keep posting location for the sake of the dog and owner.

Take to the local shelter before Just leaving it. They will scan it too for a microchip

Have it scanned for a microchip. It’s free to do at any vets office or a Petsmart

IMO, it looks more like an English Cream Golden Retriever than a Pyrenees.

I went last night and searched the area and couldn’t find this dog. :(

How do you ask the poster questions when it’s through this pawboost site??

Please give him food & water. Maybe lost or abandoned. Can you keep him safe and look for owner or new home? Put up a flyer with a face photo and phone number at convenience stores and intersections in addition to social media. Some are not online or not paying attention. Text or leave flyer at the neighbors, vet offices and the animal shelter. Put phone # in your post in case it gets forwarded to different social media.
