Description

13 month old, fairly small medium hair male cat. Very shy and afraid of people. Will run if confronted, but very gentle. Likely coming out at night to feed. Please check doorbell and security cams as he is probably hiding during the day.

Message from Owner

If anyone sees him, please contact us as he will likely run away if approached. He is very sweet but very shy and doesn’t have a lot of experience outdoors.

Post on all your local animal groups and next-door app and keep a daily eye open at those groups. Let the pound know he is missing and keep a daily eye open at your local pound. Put some of your dirty clothing outside and something of kitty's and kitty's fur sibling outside for him to smell their way home.

Justin Royal Elswick I didn't see these last couple of messages on here until now. No need to thank me, I have been in this situation and it is truly heartbreaking. I really needed someone there for me to help me look for my cat, too and would have greatly appreciated it.

Justin Royal Elswick I'm going to Lindon animal shelter again this Friday. I will let you know if I see any cat that looks like yours. I'm commenting on here so the algorithm will push your post again. I'm truly hoping you find him 🥺🐈

I did place small bits of litter from the litter box and small piles of food around the few streets around our house. Two miles is such a vast area in all directions, so I am just wishing i had SOME idea of where he went to.

J Liz Smith I definitely feel like he wandered and is not able to find his way back home. We have several cats so I don't have a specific blanket for him...but I wonder if the shreds from some of the blankets he shared with other cats would help.

Help a cat find their way home by: 1. Cut in shreds their favourite blanket 2. Tie around posts from your house (several) to a 2+ mile radius, placing more strips closer & closer to home 3. Leave her toys, food, something outside so if she makes it back & you’re out, she stays Often cats lose their way back home as they become disoriented. The premise behind this strategy is to guide her back to her house. Prayers & positive thoughts your way! 🙏😇🐈
