Message from Owner

Hello everyone, I’m missing my oldest cat Cleo. She’s lives at my parent’s hse as I didn’t want to move her from all she knows. She mostly sits in the front yard all day then comes inside to eat. She’s pretty independent and rarely comes when called which is why I wasn’t alarmed at first. It’s been 5 days and still no sign of her, I looked around the neighborhood and haven’t seen her. She had a collar on until she figured out how to take it off, but she is microchipped. I have visited the nearest animal shelter and they don’t have her. Thankfully she’s not on any . If you spot her please let me know. Text is best.

Post on nextdoor. Post on pawboost. Tell your neighbors. Go out at night with a flashlight. Cats, when lost, hide. They come out when the area is less active. Use flashlight to help see eyeshine. Point in bushes, under cars and near houses. Be careful of people claiming they can help. Hope you find your baby soon.

Alert microchip company and your vet asap. Make sure contact info is updated. Put some clothing or blanket with YOUR scent on them outside so she can hopefully pick up scent and follow back. Calling his name and checking periodically during the night and the early morning hours when all is quiet is BEST. It may have to be done more than once and for more than one night. It usually works. Post on pawboost(it's free just ignore payment and upgrades; make/print free flyers and put them up everywhere). Post on nextdoor and Ring. Knock on neighbors doors and give them flyers. Check area shelters IN PERSON and OFTEN giving them flyers, too.

Leave your garage cracked with food and water. Go out late at night when it's quiet and just sit outside and call for her.
