Message from Owner

Two of my cats disappeared just a few days apart. Hector is 12 years old, short-haired mackerel tabby, neutered. He is a little chubby and quite skittish, but very nice once he trusts you. He has never been away from home for more than a day. Our other cat, Amber (a long-haired tabby) disappeared two days before him. He may have gone looking for her or picked up her scent. They are both microchipped but uncollared. They may be scared and hiding, unexpectedly shut in somewhere, or possibly staying near/feeding with stray cats. Please, before closing barns, garages, or sheds, take a moment to check inside. They may not come out or meow even if they are there. If you see a new tabby cat around your property or with local strays, please send us a photo, even if you’re not sure. We would rather check too many possible sightings than miss them. You can text or call. Thank you.

Get out and walk the blocks! Post posters in several blocks! They don't usually go far! Ask residents to look in sheds garages anywhere they can hide! Look up in trees where they go for safety! Look in bushes Join neighborhood groups! Best time to search is the middle of the Night 3-5 am Put a cardboard box with something with your scent outside! LOOK IN TREES! SHEDS GARAGES ANY ITEMS WITH A TARP on it they will try to come home in the middle of the night in most cases

.Please place its bedding πŸ› outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothingπŸ‘šπŸ‘– front and back door πŸšͺwith a contents of tuna can 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vaccumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏑 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbors πŸ–Όpicture of the🐈 cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. You can also put a sign in front of your lawn. 🏠 Letting all the neighbors know , with your cats 🐈 picture on the board to notify you too. Go early in the β˜€οΈmorning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera / Baby monitor πŸ“Ή to monitor and see & hear if the cat is around your house . You can even ask your Local Animal Shelter to rent out safe trap and monitor it.. Praying for a soon safe return πŸ€of your kitty πŸ™ ❀️🏑🐾
