They usually don’t venture far. It’s probably scared & hiding near by in bushes or an open garage. Most kitties will stay put in their safe hiding spot. ( if they’re not fixed they can wonder further, depends on circumstances) Ask neighbors to check their sheds, decks, garages. They usually venture out at night after 24-48hrs when they start getting hungry. The “witching” hour when they come out is 3am. If you see your pet, don’t try to grab it, it’s still on survival mode and will run. Just sit down maybe with some treats and let your pet come to you. (Remember, never put the litterbox outside. Other cats will mark it & scare your cat away. Just in case, also set some humane traps near by, hide them in the bushes where your pet might hide. Good luck & don’t lose hope. Pray to St Anthony, he hasn’t let me down. 🙏🏻🐾

Check with local police, veterinarians, shelters and rescues FREQUENTLY in person if possible. Put flyers all over the neighborhood and ask neighbors to check their garages and sheds. Post on your county's Facebook Lost and Found Pets page. If your baby isn't microchipped, please get her chipped as soon as she's home. Praying for a quick return home. Stay positive. Please keep us updated when she's back!

Jeanne Swift food water and familiar fabrics have been outside my building with camera pointed. Maybe a hidden humane trap would do more. My other boy ran away exactly a year ago. Two days after setting a trap out front he was near the bushes.

Get a humane trap asap. That’s the best way. You can get one on Amazon or tractor supply. Some times shelters or local cat rescues will lend you one. Most hardware stores carry them. Usually they are close by. When using a trap please be mindful of other people’s pets and wildlife. Check it often so they are not left to stress in the trap. In the meantime leave out food and water, water always even when trapping. Post flyers and ask Neighbors to check under decks, in garages, sheds and crawl spaces. Set up a ring camera and ask neighbors to check theirs. Try the open door trick. Secure other pets and leave the door open just a bit, so she can slip back in quietly on her own, especially in the early morning hours. Leave a trail of food leading inside. Put get that humane trap asap. 🙏❤️
