Message from Owner

Hi everyone. My cat went missing on Sunday 9/7 and she has yet to be spotted as far as we know & she hasnt been seen by us. She is an indoor/outdoor cat, spayed & microchipped. (We would absolutey love to have her indoors full-time but since she was supposed to be a trap and release who was deemed friendly enough to adopt, she refuses to be locked inside, we have tried everything even as far as putting a screened in porch in at our other hse but we've been at our new for a year & she has been happy golucky.) She does have full access to the hse whenever she pleases as we have a kitty door. We have called the humane society's within our county (Clay) & they havent got her. We just put up flyers today & we will be going through the neighborhood on Saturday to see if someone has her as we think someone may have mistakenly took her as a stray so please if your family or someone you may know has recently taken a cat in please please please make sure it isnt her. (We dont believe she ran away because she has NEVER done this before.) Thank you to whomever took time to read this! She was last seen at Hickory Glen Dr in Orange Park.

Martha Dianne Parker Hi! I’m just now seeing this, as I wasn’t aware that my cat had been posted in this group. She is fixed, and I absolutely do not force my cat to be outside. She was a TNR cat who was deemed friendly enough to be adopted. When adopting TNR cats who grew up outside, they can sometimes have a really hard time adjusting to being indoors full-time. I made every effort to keep her inside, but she preferred to go outside occasionally and then return home to go back inside. We also have dogs who use a doggy door, and she figured out how to use it as well, so keeping her completely inside was virtually impossible. I appreciate your advice, though! Thank you!

I fed her treats on Monday. I’ve been calling her Smoky. I haven’t seen her since Monday. In Ridgecrest on Baywood ct. she let me pet her and likes to roll over. I figured she was owned. I will let you know if I see her again.

Cook chicken on the grill. Put catnip outside. Play YouTube videos of kittens crying. Shine a laser cat toy around the bushes.
