I'm coming to believe the worst with my own witness of coyote sighting on my street same day. 6/2 and not a word.

I'm coming out of my isolati9n & sadness, it was a hard loss. He came into our life and bolted the same way but really was happy & loved.

Wags Westminster put a chip in when they had him comfortably 18 days adoption hold for a neighbor couple that knew he was ours. Had to get Animal Control officer, $400 and 10 pocs of him as proof of ownership. The chip they keep track of and I'm told they're no good , not activated. They are a nonprofit, low shelter that isn't very nice, they asked how I pay like 900 but I gave them 400 and brought him home,he was 1 or about when a family friend found h8m in his Anaheim condo community running & gifted him to us, but he's a bolster. The day I went looking 6/2 he left I and other neighbors have seen Cyypote runn8ng in my street.

Check the surrounding shelters every day, not just the one in your city. Someone may have picked the dog up and not live near you, then dropped the dog at a shelter near them. It’s easy to do, go on their websites and scan the pictures. Also, go in person sometimes they hold dogs in the back that are not in the pictures. And also put posters up, because not everyone is on social media.
