Description

Russian Blue, 11 lbs no collar but microchipped. He a timid, sweet indoor cat that is only allowed in our fenced yard under supervision once on a while and I worry for his safety. He much loved by his family and cat buddy. He went missing around 2pm on 9/9 and was sighted once on Graves Avenue, then twice on Union Street between Yves Place and Pearl Street that same day. 9/10 spotted at 45 Graves near midnight. Our yard backs onto Graves. We rushed over and looked and called for him but did not find him. A grey cat was seen on 9/11 near the corner of Union Street and State Street, but not certain it was him.

Message from Owner

He's an indoor cat that sometimes does in the garden with us. He took off which is something he has never done before. He's the emotional support car for our other rescue cat and a beloved pet. He's 6 years old. Please help bring Harvey ! Check your outbuildings and grges.

You can purchase a trap from Tractor Supply or Home Depot or Amazon or see if you can borrow or rent one from a local rescue or TNR group. Put a piece of your clothing with your scent on it inside and some wet food and set the trap and monitor it in the morning🙏❣️ remember kitties are naturally nocturnal, so they will hide during the day and move at night time looking for a food source or trying to get home. This is when most of us are sleeping. That's why the trap is ideal. Monitor it early in the morning. If you catch a critter go ahead and release it and wash the trap and reset. They leave a smell behind which may deter your baby from going in. If you catch another kitty, you can always take it to a local vet or shelter for a free chip check and you might be able to help return someone else's missing baby home.♥️

UPDATE : I had a call tonight about another sighting on Monday at 315 Boston Street on the afternoon. It was definitely a grey cat seen crossing the road. I am ros there are no cats in the neighborhood. So this sounds like Harvey.

Sydney Cunningham I know I'm imposing, but could you put out some water? I'm at the cemetery now looking for him.

I’m not sure if it was him but I saw a cat hiding under my neighbors car (my neighbor doesn’t have a cat) yesterday around 5pm. I should’ve checked for this post sooner but just saw the sign that he is missing. I live on Boston Street near the graveyard
