Terri Lynn Doss you'd be surprised! They have good survival instincts too. Best to think about finding her, they hide very well and hunker down under between behind and inside areas, look with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake and pop top cans of smelly food to pop open now and then. Ask neighbors to check garages and sheds and parked vehicles like RV'S and look up, roof tops and trees. Cats go into survival mode and might not come when called but still softly call her name and remain positive and proactive and you will find her.

Getting a humane trap is very important part of finding a lost cat. The cats are typically close by but hiding and scared to come around. Set up a trap baited with smelly food outside the exit where he escaped. You can borrow a humane trap from a shelter and they will show you how to use it. Keep searching tho on foot under between behind and inside all areas around your property and your neighbors with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake. Don't give up, be positive and proactive!
