Message from Finder

This kitten, probably 3 or 4 months old, showed up meowing on our doorstep tonight, and also seems to maybe be in some pain when he urinates. Clearly someone's pet, very loving, very sweet.

If he’s having pain with urination that can definitely be an emergency situation. They can become blocked and die. Please take him somewhere and let them know of this

For others seeing this post: we scanned for a microchip and there isn't one.

Please take the kitten to APA Brentwood or StL Pet Adoption Center where they will free scan for a microchip, and they will hold the cat to reunite with owner. Please let them know about a possible UTI. If someone tries to claim, please ask for proof of ownership (vet records, description of the collar pet was found wearing, unique markings, of the pet - information that you have not already included in your post). Post on Nextdoor app, Ring app, neighborhood Facebook groups, lost pet groups, and check/create a PawBoost alert. Hang FOUND signs around the area in ziplock bags (zip on the bottom) to protect from rain.
