Did you put up signs that need to be done the first hour when you find a pet. This Old school way works but the key to it working is doing it immediately immediately, time is of the essence. I just did it twice in the last 8 months. And both dogs got home safely to the rightful owner because they had proof and they had pictures, I put my signs up, the owner put their signs up within a day and a 1/2 both dogs are home... Grab 2 poster boards, fold them in half.Cut it, cut it again.You'll have 8 squares use permanent marker.Fill it out , put your phone number on it , grab hammer , nails quick, fast, cheap and easy for $5. From Dollar Tree, you can get everything. You need.. Put the sign up and the exact area.It was found in on the nearest cross streets in that area and up and down the main road closest to that area immediately , time is of the essence

Owners will have pictures, paperwork or a vet reference.Y'all can call or go to together.To verify ownership, only the owner will have this information.\nNo proof no dog again asked for phone number and tell him you're gonna match it to the license and call the phone that way they know you're serious

Bad people and dog fighters will be the first to inquire. They will have 0 proof of ownership and will allow you and try to trick you ask questions question their answers, ask for their phone number and their address and tell them you're going to match it to their license and call their phone, they have to have vet references that you can verify that they are the owner. This is the only way to make sure They also will use women and children to do their dirty work.its not personal it's safety.
