First stray cat I’ve encountered since moving from South Dakota. Living in a college town, feral cats were everywhere and I would leave them a pile of food but were very feral, as in better left on their own. I went to do the same for this kitten and it sprinted at me when it heard the food, followed me as I shook the bowl to a more secluded spot, and continued to let me pet it WHILE it was eating. It seems in good health but is certainly not equipped for the outdoors especially noting its thin appearance. This baby has a home. If not claimed, I have found a couple willing to give him a permanent home if the owners are not found. They’re currently caring for him at this time and he is getting some much needed love and comfort after his time on the streets.
