Message from Owner

Our precious Allie is missing. She got out sometime during the afternoon on 10/22. She looks pretty fluffy but actually she is pretty skinny -- weighs about 7 pounds. She is an elderly cat and has not been feeling well lately and takes daily for hypothyroidism and recently an appetite booster. We are so very worried about her. We tore the hse apart looking for her because she has lots of hiding places and then realized the back door was not latched all the way and for whatever reason, the back yard camera didn't catch it. The camera is not close enough to the door, I think. At 5:40 a.m. this morning I believe our front camera caught her walking away from the porch, down the walkway and turned up our driveway. The video isn't the best so I'm not 100% certain it was her but hopefully it was and she is still nearby. I looked in every nook & cranny in the garage too and no luck. Unfortunately, she is not chipped and didn't have a collar. She is super sweet and very gentle. Thank you for taking the time to read this!

When our cat went missing, I had to stay up and wait for him to come back in the middle of the night. Being that they’re nocturnal that’s when they’ll come back I’ve learned. During the day they’re probably sleeping somewhere. Sorry this happened to you I hope your kitty comes home soon.

Lisa Schmidt that is great she will stay close. I stayed up all night just watching my phone/camera and he finally entered my garage at 3:45am to eat the food I had left. I had to rig the garage door so that I could close it manually from inside my house but it was all worth it and worked! Finally home. If this isn’t an option maybe a drop cage but you will need to be vigilant and watch to pull rope to close it. Now that you know it was early morning make a plan and you’ll lose sleep but once kitty is home you’ll feel so much better 😊

I just put a couple up 2 days ago. I'll have to pick really obnoxious alert tone because she was on our porch at 5:40 a.m. and I didn't wake up. I woke up an hour and a half later and she was nowhere to be seen.

Put cameras out with real time motion notifications on your phone. They will not go far. This is how I got my indoor kitty back when he got outside

Look close to home and put out litter and smelly food and your clothes for smell. Use flashlight and look under everything for eyes. Leave garage door open a little for safety and warmth. Usually they don't travel far away. Contact neighbors to help look for your baby. Take treat bag outside and call name. Prayers you find your baby soon 🙏
