Message from Owner
Tiggers and his brother Garfield both orange and white ginger cats who have been domesticated inside only cats for 15 years were being care by an ex-relative in Fresno while I was recouping from surgery beginning on July 22, 2026. My request to see current photos and or videos of them were not provided by this caregiver nearly the whole month of August nor in this whole month of September, I tried to pick them up on Sept 4th when family drove me to Fresno from where I’m living right now in Tracy a 4-he round-trip drive. The caregiver wasn’t home and I couldn’t find my cats anywhere in the facility. The instructions by a vet and myself for Tiggers and his brother Garfield were to NOT let them outside at all. They were already scared and traumatized after spending time in a vet boarding facility after taken from their home environment of 15 years and without me all of their lives. The instructions by a vet and myself on July 22 when this person picked them up to care for them were to keep them INSIDE til I could pick them up and take care of them. I ended up posting flyers in that whole area of the complex and shortly thereafter, I got a text message from possibly a tenant in that complex stating that one of the cats (Garfield) matching the description on my fliers was found deceased in the complex of where they were to be taken care of In the Granville s Creighton Place 1702 L St. unit 119 Fresno Ca. I’m just devastated and heartbroken that a person could let them go outside on their own without food and water. They were INSIDE ONLY cats for 15 years. Please find my fur baby Tiggers that might still be alive. A neglect case has been reported to the CCSPCA, and I believe an investigation is ongoing to the NEGLECT of these cats. Tiggers has cancer and he was on and I’m afraid because he hasn’t had his medicine that he’s gonna go downhill real quick. Please find him and bring him home. His microchip number at HomeAgain Pet Recovery is 985 141 011 874 360. I WOULD LIKE ANIMAL CONTROL OR AMIMAL RESCUE TEAM TO GO INTO THAT COMPLEX AREA AND SET A TRAP FOR HIM BUT I DON’T KNOW HOW TO GO ABOUT DOING THAT SINCE I DON’T LIVE IN THE FRESNO AREA. I’M JUST AT MY WITS END. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
