Found this sweetheart wandering alone near the swim beach at the Santa Fe Dam. She looks to have had her leg amputated recently and still has stitches. Brought her home with us and she loves cuddles!

Thank you for caring and keeping her safe. 🙏🏼♥️🐾 Please check her for a microchip. Any vet can do it.

Julie Hardt No, I do not. She’s a cutie. 🥰 I’ll keep an eye out for posts for her. She has to belong to someone. It is not cheap to amputate a limb. We had a tripod 14 years ago. I’d like to let the finder and or owner know that Heavenly Pet Resort is having a spay and neuter clinic in October.

In case you haven’t🙏🏼 Please post on Nextdoor and other local groups if you haven’t. If you can post some flyers in the area, you found her in case her missing owner doesn’t use social media. Also, please have pup scanned for a chip. Hoping pup is reunited with owners soon. 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼 Thank you for helping this sweet pup.

Thank you for picking up this pup. I’m not the owner but we have been trying to locate the pup to try to get her safe. Thank you so much for getting her off the streets.
