Description

German shepherd. Is limping a little. No collar or tags. Very scared and shy but allowed us to come close and leash. Just ate a nice meal :). This looks like same dog sighted a couple miles away 6 days ago on PawBoost ID 73274694. We have the dog safely in our yard for now. He’s too scared to to take him to get checked for a microchip right now. We will see how he does today.

We spotted this dog running and slowly he allowed us to approach. He’s a scared sweetheart but won’t take treats or water yet. We have this dog leashed but can’t get him to move and come with us yet. May tie him where he is for the night with water and food

Kathleen Cooke Agreed. We didn’t leave him. We were able to get him to our home and he is doing a little better with us today.

Not a good idea to tie him to pole all night he can be attacked by coyotes please do not leave him there!He has no way to defend himself!

We were able to get him a block away to our home/yard last night. Basically had to drag him by the leash. We were not comfortable trying to pick him up. He has eaten and drank a lot but is still extremely scared of us this morning. His leg is injured and he’s limping. I’m hoping I can find someone to come scan him here for a microchip. I can’t see getting him in the car and to a vet or Petco. I’ve posted to NextDoor and PawBoost.

Maybe a treat to get him home or to a vet. Can you pick him up and place him in the car.
