I’m sorry your kitty is missing. Here are some things you can do to help him find his way home. Put his food, water, litter box, bed and some dirty clothing with your scent on it on a covered porch and in your garage with the door cracked open just enough for him to skinny under it. Make color posters with his picture, first word in large letters should be “LOST”, then your phone number and his name. Put them in a plastic sleeve for weather protection. Post them all over your neighborhood. Take some flyers to the local vet offices. Post on all the lost pets websites. Go to the shelters and physically walk through and look at the cats they have every other day. Don’t depend on what they tell you on the phone if you just call, lots of cats look alike. Most importantly, look for him with a flashlight to light up his eyes. Look low in the bushes and up in the trees late evening, 9 or so, and early morning around 3-6 am. Call his name and shake a can with treats in it. You may want to consider setting up a camera or two to see if he may be around close. If you hope to get him back it will take dedication, patience and hard work on your part. If you do EVERYTHING I outline here you will have the best chance of getting him back. Kitties don’t usually wander more than a couple of blocks away from home so don’t give up hope. Do try to find him as soon as possible. Because of all the construction there are coyotes and bobcats roaming our neighborhoods in search of food. If you are lucky enough to get him back please make him an inside only kitty. Also update your post to let everyone know he is safe. Paying for his safe return.

Could this be the same cat? It was seen in Chambers Creek between Longstreet and Calvary.

Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Hope this helps 🙏
