It happened in front of the Veterinary Clinic and Dominoes. He is very independent and does not like to be HELD. He is skittish around strangers but food oriented

I didn't think at the time to check up under the Dominoes Semi Truck that was unloading there. He may have wound up hitching a ride. I went back to the site this morning and this evening and shook his cat treat container, calling his name. Not a sign of him. Thanks to everyone for your concerns.

I went there at 5:30 this morning shaking his pet treat box, which usually brings him around. Thank you for the response. I feel that I failed my duty as a parent.

Owners - Go back to the location where the cat went missing as the cat will usually circle back to the location where they first went missing eventually. Stay there - in one localized area and set up a scent station using a scent that the cat is familiar with - worn clothing or shoes from the owner. Hang that scent out high so that it can travel and guide the cat back to that area. Post fliers with your contact information and cats picture in the location that the cat went missing --especially for those not on social media. If the cat is spotted the information can help provide what direction it was traveling. Check with local animal shelters in case he was picked up. Prayers your cat is found safely.
