Found a poor pup that’s very skinny, skiddish, and wet at War Memorial Park in the creek bed nearest Markham. I had my 3 pups with me so I couldn’t grab it but I did call 311 who sent a message to Animal Control but unfortunately they are closed today as well as the Animal Village. I came back without my pups to try and catch the pup but it ran away under the bridge nearest Markham. I left some food and water in Tupperware bowls near the location it was sitting in the creek bed. Not sure if she/he belongs to anyone or if anyone would have better luck helping the pup out! It breaks my heart! 🥺😢 I’m just glad it’s not 100 plus and hopefully Animal Control can help out first thing tomorrow.
