Message from Owner

Lili is her name, she hasn't been out on the streets since 2018 she's been inside since then she has her vaccination for rabies and are not due until December 27th 2026. She's not wearing a collar and she does not have a microchip. Lili is one of 23 cats I care for she is an inside cat now. I do believe she's not far from my hse but due to the hurricanes all the neighbors fences are down so it's not keeping her one section she was last seen on March 3rd at 10:30 at night when she darted out of my front door I tried to get her before she took off I think she just got freaked out I do believe she's not far and I think perhaps somebody has taken her in, my veterinarian that she goes to is Haines Road Animal hosp off of 16th Street and Haines Road North They are aware that she has gone missing they also know that she does not have a chip inserted. She does know her name she is sweet and likes to cuddle of course she likes to eat. The reason why she's a little Peggy for her age is because one of her adult kittens has a rare autoimmune skin disease Lily Lili gets fed the same type of food that I feed Tili is grain free and because it's grain free there's higher protein therefore it tends to make cats a little more pudgier. I do not let my inside cats eat all day. So Lili is used to eating between 6:00 and 6:30 in the morning for an hour and then again my inside cast eat between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. each one has their own bowl with the fourth of a cup of dry food. Twice a week my cats inside and outside they get canned food. If she's inside with somebody's hse that would give me a lot more comfort to know that she's being cared for she gets along with other cats she eats along with other cats. She just hasn't been outside since I rescued her. She lives in Harris Park neighborhood our boundaries are 16th Street to the interstate and 38th Avenue to Haines Road North in St Petersburg. My hse where Lili lives is on 44th Avenue about five hses down from the Vietnamese church on 21st Street North. Lili has been spayed no she's not part of a tipped ear colony group, yes she was part of a huge rescue in 2018 along with her kittens and then unfortunately she was also pregnant with another set of kittens. If somebody finds her I am also on Facebook under Betsy Sweet her picture sitting in the chair is my profile picture. Yes I have 23 total cats but each one I care and love for as if they were the only cat in my hse. When Lili disappeared on March 3rd at 10:30 p.m. she pushed her way through the door that I thought I had blocked with my foot when I realized she had ran out unfortunately I am just 8 weeks post fracture of my right foot I had to put on some kind of shoe to help me walk quickly but safely I was not able to try to take a flashlight and walk out in the backyard where it's was just recently Roots were grinded so the yard was uneven it would be detrimental to my health I have been driving through the neighborhood and we have very short blocks between sections of our neighborhood I'm unable to physically walk the neighborhood due to the fact that I I have been out of the medical boot about 2 weeks now but I've been out there screaming for her or hollering as they would say almost 24/7 I am worried but I have not seen anything on the road which gives me some comfort but if somebody has her everybody knows that I feed a lot of cats and care for a lot of cats and I will feed my cats first and go to Food Bank so they are fed and care for. Please I know how to find a cat if they're able to be found she is not at the Pinellas County Animal Services nor is she at Pinellas County humane society I have also checked with PetPal, Friends of Strays, Save our Strays all these websites. I have been living in the neighborhood that Lili resides in for 20 years. I just think that she's scared somewhere but I hope somebody's feeding her that's what's making me so physically ill not knowing if she's being fed. And today it's raining not hard and she doesn't care for the rain nor does she care for really loud noise but I don't know too many cats that do. I just want to find Lili I always had hope that I found a for her and her kittens they will be 6 years old just was not in the cards at the time when I was trying to find s it was kitten season I could not place them with any agencies to adoption it was during the pandemic I couldn't find foster s to adopt them out through. I just want to know that she's okay and where she's at I will come and get her or they can come to me with her she does pretty good at cat carrier. She can be brought to Haines Road Animal hosp if so need to be, I have been a client bringing my cats and dogs with them for over 35 years they know who I am. Thank you in advance

Lili IS STILL MISSING, Since MARCH 3,2025 She is still missing as of today May 11th 2025, So this agency bumped her up to the top I had to scroll through $588 and then I had to bring down the miles instead of 35 miles away from where she left I brought down to 11 miles which actually that's how I get to see her this point in the picture here but she has a distinction looked up her face she's White strip kind of wide from a bridge over nose down the side of her side of her nose and once again she has not been seeing it in any shelters the Pinellas County. Whether it's Pinellas County Animal Services or whether it's Pinellas County Humane society she's not put it for adoption in any local no shelters she's not in the neighborhood nobody's seeing her picture I think they just think a nice person brought her in she is absolutely no where to be found she may not be able to leave where she's at I don't know maybe she likes it where she's at just want to make sure wherever she's at that she's okay. I would appreciate any information that's the address of the house that she snuck out of. To whomever reads this under no circumstances at any shape or form that cat was not loved and wanted since the day I met her. Whatever she's at or to whomever she's with please just promise me that you're going to love her and that she's wanted to whenever the good Lord takes her home thank you everybody..

Lili, Has been updated with Paw Boost she is still missing, Once again everyday since she's been gone I have checked all the shelters and my County unless somebody took her another County I don't even know what other shelters there are? If somebody is taking her in and my neighborhood Harris Park neighborhood in St Petersburg or zip code is 33714 we are not far from the stone soup Cafe on 16th Street North and 42nd Avenue North my neighborhood is very very small our boundaries are 38th Avenue North to Haines Road 16th Street North to the interstate like if once posted she lived on the streets since 2018 when I rescued her off the street and her kittens at that time she has made no attempt to go out what made her push the door and my leg out of the way and dart out at 10:30 tonight is beyond me I do not know what spooked her. Please if anybody has found her you can go to Haines Road Animal Hospital let them know you have her I will give you my email address it's sweetelizabeth 1945@gmail.com. Thank you everyone for looking out for my baby

This is an update picture of her of what she would look like today she has a very distinctive White that goes for the top of her eyebrow down to the side of her nose. She still is not found today March the 18th 2025 I did go back up in the neighborhood cuz we had a bad storm yesterday and drove real slow my neighbor is not very big so we didn't take me any amount of time I could just drive really really slow in our speed limits like 25 so I can take my time.

Tom Olson Well good morning happy Tuesday oh that's something I don't have to worry about everybody that I have is spayed or neutered. The problem was is that 10 of them were trapped and released back to me the rest of my paid for early and this adventure but I just couldn't afford to to do microchip because I was in hopes of certain organizations that would accept these kittens and moms to get adopted out but when that didn't happen it just wasn't part of my equation at the time and the kitty that's missing was living on the streets so I really wasn't worried about her running off but the fact she's been inside my house since 2018 so now I think our senses are off and and now since all my neighbors fences have been blown down from Milton she's getting a lot further away than anticipated. I'm staying hopeful that you'll find a way home and she won't be timid by a few grumpy cats at my neighbors own even though they have collars they can be grumpy at times. My neighborhoods out looking for her as well I had lost my voice there for a while couldn't holler her name out. I'm going to go back out this morning I don't know which direction she went we have so many new neighbors and new homes but those are in streets that are busier so hopefully I just got done feeding my inside cast I just need to wait for it to get a little lighter before I feed my outside cats otherwise I don't want to feed raccoons , thank you again for your thoughtfulness have a great day

Betsy Sweet May God bless you for rescuing so many cats. Some cat rescue groups may be able to help you with low cost spay/neuter. I had my youngest cat spayed at Operation Snip in Largo. It is low cost spay and neuter clinic on Walsingham Rd in Lago.
