Non- neutered male Ginger cat, med build, short-haired domestic....feral.

Message from Owner

I love him dearly. I have fed him for about 1 years & 1/2 as primary food / care source with neighbors on Linden. He has probably been in the block/ neighborhood of Idlewild Historic for maybe 3+ years. Please let me know of any sitings. If you find him injured, contact me or take to vet & if him, will repay & take over the cost. Please don't try to trap him, as he is afraid of people he does not know & had a traumatic experience with this before. Please check under, inside your garages, sheds, under cars etc as in several articles it's mentioned feral will hide if injured or afraid.

Jay Sansing Thanks Jay. I met you once, back when I was visiting Rusty/ Garfield & I would also give Sam treats but he'd stay away from me then. There's been a very aggressive black cat on our block since January. I'm hoping he's not leaving his territory because of him. I read an article that said male feral will do that. I saw Sam woop his butt on my security camera . The cat came up & hit Sam in the head when he was sound asleep in my rocking chair, they fought & the cat ran off & left, so he could hold his own but I hope he didn't leave because he was just sick of the black cat messing with him. Sam, the black cat & a girl cat I feed all ate @ the same time with Sam on the porch, the girl by my car & the black cat hiding behind my fence with no problems. The 9th( Thursday) he came for breakfast & later in the evening for treats & crunchy food as I put crunchy morning,& evening with water. I was sitting on the porch talking to him & he was hanging out on the top of my car, relaxing. This doesn't sound like a cat that's scared. I'm @ a loss & don't know what to think. I miss him so much. It was just 7 weeks ago tomorrow I had to euthanize the 3rd cat I was feeding so it's all the more sad as I'm still grieving him.
