Emotional support animal! Cheddar is 1 year old and has never been outside before. She is registered as my ESA to help with chronic anxiety. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old so I am all she knows and she is my baby. She loves treats of any kind. She is typically vocal when approached but I am unsure how she will react outside. She is approx 6 to 7 pounds and I am very afraid for her safety.

Chrissy Prft my step mom brought me her trap yesterday. It closed very early this morning with nothing inside so I reset it.

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

I would set a humane kitty trap with food/water & cover with a large towel.. YCSPCA rents them out & returns your deposit when you take the trap back to them.. They show you how to set it up.. Keep out of direct sunlight & check frequently 💕
