We lost Luna on September 26. She’s an indoor cat and has never been outside by herself. My African mom who used to joke about selling her whenever I’d get in trouble is in tears which shows just how much we miss her and it’s been less than 2 days. We’ve been searching all through the day, bough flashlights to go out and search during the night, and my sister even woke up to search at 5 am in the morning. We’ve left her scratching post tower/ hse outside to serve as a source to trace a familiar scent. She’s shy and cuddly and we’ve had her for 6 years ever since she was a baby. We live in southwest Edmonton in Walker lakes and would appreciate anyone contacting us if they’ve seen her in person or on camera. We’re currently making posters to spread around our neighborhood but please help us find her. She always sleeps in my room and this was the one night I woke up in the middle of the morning and didn’t see her. I got up to use the washroom and called for her because I assumed she fell asleep downstairs but neither her or my other cat responded to I went back to bed. At this moment she was outside on my porch looking at the back door camera waiting for the door to open. I’m absolutely devastated and haven’t went to school and skipped my doctors appointment. Please help me find her and if you recently fount any cats, if it’s her or not, take them to the vet and get them scanned for a microchip. If they do not have one post them on Facebook groups for lost and found pets. Thank you.
