Staci Michele if they ask for them, they will give them back, you are ASSuming they won't, and you know what that makes you. We do not care about your opinion, you have yet to show me the law that you claim to know... And you clearly have never done rescue because in almost 20 years not one person has come looking for their dog years later, especially dogs dumped in the shithole of California. If a rescue has anything to do with you, I surely don't give a flying f about their opinion because they are clearly delusional too. If they're your dogs, let us know, otherwise leave us the f alone, you're not the dog police of Hemet, and you've still done nothing to help the situation. Thankfully people like us are actually doing things for the dogs. If you actually find the owner I'll give you a gold star, but it'll never happen because you don't want to find the owners you just want to talk from your couch. I've actually been trying to find the owners today, what did you do today that was useful?

Shannon Kujawa you need to save the California laws because it is not legal to hold a dog and decide when it becomes your dog. There’s no amount of days in the state of California that I found Animal becomes yours just because you held onto it for a certain amount of days. An owner can request their dog back and sue you for their dogs two years from now if they find out you have them you are such a horrible rescue. Other rescues have been messaging me and are shocked that you have these dogs.

Staci Michele and you have yet to cite the law that you keep spewing off about. Since this is your MO, you should have the law handy and post it first, but you don't, because it doesn't exist. Show me the law and the dogs will be at the shelter in an hour. Also, you have yet to come up with their "owner", so you have no clue as to whether or not that is even true, you are just a misinformed stirrer.

Staci Michele check your facts. NWBR has pulled tons of boxers from Riverside, purebred or not. This rescue usually does not pull a dog until it is euth listed, giving time for the public to walk in and adopt any "purebred" they want. There are over 50 in SoCal right now that anyone can go get for next to nothing, and nobody is going. There's at least one at Riverside, so go get it if you want a "purebred". They are a boxer rescue, that's why they don't take random dogs that you want them to take. If you run a rescue you can also make the choice to do whatever the f you want. They don't have to do what you want. This rescue did what was best for the dogs, they just didn't do what you want them to do, but they are following the proper protocol, even if it's not what you think someone should do. Until you actually do something for a dog, you can keep sitting at your computer while people like NWBR keep doing the hard work and dealing with assholes like you that have never actually done anything to help in their lives. Again, just in case it takes you a little extra time to understand, there is NO LEGAL REQUIREMENT to take the dogs to the shelter. The shelter has confirmed this to us, and you have yet to come up anytime showing otherwise, you just live to harass people that actually get off their ass to help dogs. These dogs are in poor condition, not from 4 days of being loose, but from months of neglect, and again you did nothing, you never even saw the dogs, you just think that you know everything, and you really just don't. 😢 I'm done arguing with you because you're not worth it at all, we know your type, and everyone else knows as well so I don't even need to defend what NWBR is doing. They are doing great work, you are causing unnecessary drama. I'll keep trying to find their owners that we know don't exist, and you can keep on being the miserable person that you are.

Also, just because they’re skinny, doesn’t mean that they don’t have owners that were taking care of them. You keep going on and on about how they were out for days so that would make a dog skinny if it didn’t eat for a few days. I love how so-called rescues like to justify not going the legal route to get these dogs and instead just taking them off the street and not doing what’s best for them to get back to their owners. Making up their own decisions of what happened to these dogs. Of course because they’re purebreds. Because we have tons of dogs that don’t have owners that I don’t see you stepping up to help.

Shannon Kujawa keep trying to justify you stealing someone’s lost dogs. Last I checked, the shelter does not make the California state laws. These dogs are somebody’s property. You can never legally own them unless they go through animal services and you legally adopt or take them through a 501(c) rescue. The fact that you don’t want to do that shows exactly what type of rescue you are.

Staci Michele I'm glad you know what everyone else does. I surely did call the recovery home closest to where they were found. There is no legal requirement to turn them in to the shelter. The rescue followed proper protocol and the dogs are filthy and underweight. If you can tell me when you held them and petted them to know their condition I might believe you, but since you have never seen these dogs in real life you are just spreading lies. Get a job or a life and actually help dogs and stop harassing everybody that doesn't want to dump a dog at an overcrowded shelter to die. News flash, it's legal to do a stray hold outside of the shelter.

Staci Michele check your facts, I have it in writing from the shelter that we do not need to bring them there, we did everything required by the shelter. Also, just so everyone knows you're a liar, I'm going to post 1 picture of their ribs poking out. If you think they are well taken care of, I hope you never own a dog, but since I know you never saw them in real life I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
