Message from Owner

Her name is MeiMei and she's skittish but very friendly. She's crosseyed and on the skinnier side. She is also spayed and chipped. I also need to redo her flee . Shes only semi used to being outside as we walk her with a harness. Anything helps, even if she's past it would be better to know than not. Please help us find her. I'm worried she was kidnapped. Please keep an eye out around Bradshaw. Thank you.

Have neighbors check garages and sheds. Have a tree out back? Check that too. Leave your garage door up a little so they can return home to a familiar place. Place a box outside with blankets or even the clothes you wore today so a cat can pick up the scent and make it home. If you are new to this area, have friends keep an eye out at your former home. And please: CHECK THE LOCAL SHELTERS DAILY I hope your kitty makes it back home safe very soon. Please make sure to get your cat chipped once they return, and PLEASE keep them indoors! PLEASE NEVER LOSE HOPE! LOOK UP! Cats are great climbers and looking for them on the ground only is limiting your search. Male wanderers tend to stay within a territory of about 150 acres, while females stay closer to home, roaming only about 40 acres. This means that your average male cat is likely to stay within 1500 feet of home, while your average female tends not to go much farther than 75 yards from your door. Be careful of the lost pet finders. Most of them are playing on your emotions and wanting cash up front.! https://www.pawboost.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=report_pet_alert_link_lost Sacramento SPCA | (916) 383-7387 Front Street Shelter | 311 or (916) 808-7387 Bradshaw Animal Shelter | 311 or (916) 368-7387 Elk Grove Animal Services | (916) 691-2489 or (916) 714-5115 Not from the Sacramento area? Continue to walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow
