Message from Finder

Scared fellow was sitting next to my front door in the sunshine. I brought treats out and he immediately ran away so I couldn't get a good photo. Left treats on my porch. My dog is quite excited about this when we opened our front door. He didn't run until i came outside so he is really frightened.

Morgan Garrison it's possible. My next door neighbor saw him at 6AM and he ran away. I found him resting in the sunshine at 8AM and he didn't move when I opened the front door. But once I was outside more than 6 feet away he got up and began moving away ultimately toward Good Drive. I hope someone was able to capture him safely. I put out a blanket and water on the porch just in case. Too many ants to leave food out. I pray that he's safe and warm.

I'm not sure if this is the same dog but just saw one that fits this description off of Columbia Ave in the Wheatland Hills neighborhood. I went out to offer it treats and it ran fast and I wasn't able to get them.

No signs of him today. I must keep my fenced yard for my dog but if he's here again I will do a trail of food to the backyard. As it is, ants were all over the treats on the front porch so I'm not leaving food out overnight. Just a bowl of water. I'm trying to see if one of the rescues or police picked him up today. Thanks.

I don't have him. As soon as I went outside with treats he left. He's a large dog so there's no way to trap him. If i could have tempted him to go into my fenced yard I could have kept him there. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do this.

Please try to trap it with a humane trap. Then have him scanned for a chip. Please find a rescue.
