Katie Louise of course they hurt the dog. That's how they work. You don't need tools to train dogs.

Christine Richardson possibly just not properly educated when it comes to modern methods of dog training. I don't think many people deliberately want to negativity affect their dog and their relationship with them...

Leila Shirvani well my dogs do not fear the prong collar, they also do not react to it. And yes it is. You can be judgemental all you like but I like to have 100% control of my dogs. Who may I add are all large breeds, one who is aggressive towards dogs. You seem to think these hurt and make dogs scared? Have you actually ever seen one be used?
