Put the work in people!!! Yes can be harder with older/re homes, but I've never failed to have a dog walk on a loose lead (spaniels to rotties and alsations). https://youtu.be/hfwGzSbTujE?si=67TDQlNCa1AacUMO Your leg needs to be the most amazing place to be - of the dog already pulls, use a mid length lead. Let it pass you, turn, to pull again it has to pass your leg - that's when you give praise, food, use a clicker, whatever method works for you. I'm not against correcting dogs in the least, I'm not against one off tools to solidify a behaviour - I'm dead against continuous use of tools because you're too lazy to train.

F off you lot, cant even be sympathetic to their worry of losing their dog, more bothered about judging, and not even educated about what you are slating these people about. Its all over YouTube how to train a dog wearing these collars, they squeeze a bit, it doesn't stab them, theyre blunt, its just the compression that they react to. Idiots. Now have some compassion.
