Description

Black and white male cat. He has white back feet, with all white toes on his right paw and two white toes on the left. There’s a white patch on his chest that continues up under his chin on the left side, plus another white patch lower down on his chest. He’s very thin and bony due to his age and a thyroid condition, so he may look underweight or frail.

Message from Owner

Our beloved family cat has gone missing, and we are absolutely heartbroken. He’s 18 years old and has been part of our lives since birth — he was born on my mum’s sofa when I was 13. He usually only potters around our back and front garden, but he disappeared from the front around 4pm. We’re worried he may have been picked up by a well-meaning passer-by who thought he was a stray because he’s very thin and bony from age and a thyroid condition. He’s a cherished member of our family, and losing him has left us broken. He’s the last of his family — his sister past three years ago from gut cancer, and his mum was tragically hit by a car two years ago. We desperately want to bring him , even if he’s past, so we can lay him to rest with his mother and sister, who he was incredibly close to. If you’ve seen him, or if you picked him up thinking he was a stray, please contact us. We just want him — no questions asked. Please check sheds, grges, and under bushes in case he’s hiding or unwell. Even a small lead could help bring him back to where he belongs. Caroline Bootio Thank you so much for keeping an eye out and sending this over. Sadly, it’s not him — our little soldier only has white toes; he never quite earned his full mittens Maybe he will if he manages to make his way back though. He’s definitely been through a few wars in his time from when he used to wander further as a young adult. Really appreciate you taking the time to reach out it means a lot.

Norma Shaw We tried that but sadly no luck yet. I’ve been leaving shoes, socks, T-shirts, and even blankets outside hoping the scent will help guide him home. Thank you so much for the advice though it really means a lot.

When my 18 year old went missing I put an old slipper out front and back and we walked the estate late at night calling her name, she found her way back shortly after...worth trying 🤞
