Description

Long haired orange cat - one of his ears has a split in it. He loves to talk with everyone in the Fairview Industrial Park. It is easy to think he is lost, but he lives next to the park. Please know we are heartbroken that he is gone and just want him back home with his people.

Message from Owner

Tiger is very friendly and often visits the Fairview Industrial businesses. Please message if found or seen. He is microchipped

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO LITTER BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

I put some flyers up about Tiger at the Grove apartment complex and the neighborhood on Aerial Way and Lawrence St. I don’t think he would go that far but in case someone picked him up thinking he didn’t have a home. If anybody has seen him please call.

You can purchase a trap from Tractor Supply or Home Depot or Amazon or see if you can borrow or rent one from a local rescue or TNR group. Put a piece of your clothing with your scent on it inside and some wet food and set the trap and cover it with a towel (they feel more secure hidden) and monitor it.🙏❣️ remember kitties are naturally nocturnal, so they will hide during the day and move at night time looking for a food source or trying to get home. This is when most of us are sleeping. That's why the trap is ideal. Monitor it very frequently and early in the morning. If you catch a critter go ahead and release it and wash the trap and reset. They leave a smell behind which may deter your baby from going in. If you catch another kitty, you can always take it to a local vet or shelter for a free chip check and you might be able to help return someone else's missing baby home.♥️ also get a big sign in the front yard so in case someone does have or sees this baby and does not see this post, they can contact the owner that way. Also get lots of signs posted in the neighborhood. Keep checking on your local county FB group pages. You can search the group by "cat" to see all the cat posts only💗

Knock on neighbours doors and put out flyers everywhere. Do offer rewards. Also go out in the night. You can hear him better then. Check the pounds too. Airtags on collars help greatly.

Leave your garage or the door that he normally uses to come in and out slightly open. He knows his way home. He may be in a neighbor’s outdoor structure. I hope that he is home soon. ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
