Respectfully, you are incorrect. They are trained in fearful behaviors, and can help them to safety and not ending up hit by a car, or in ten wrong hands fending for herself. To keep her and other people and animals safe, it’s always best to contact animal control who is trained in helping them, until their legal owners are found. She may be microchipped as well to her legal owners which is a quick scan and call to her family who knows her and she belongs with. They can’t help, if they are never contacted. All pets are are on a mandatory stray hold of 4 days in Marion County. This way their family can come pick them up to claim them, if not claimed they are placed on the adoption floor or for rescue only, as seen fit by management who is trained in fear based aggression, and behaviors

Debbie Evans That description for her breed will doom her especially at animal control. She may be friendly with the right sort of introduction and setting…may not be when loose on the street, hungry and fearful.
