Sariah Ramirez Not sure this will be helpful since your baby is so young and may not have had the time to have become enamored, BUT a few years back my cat got out unnoticed for a few hours. We did all the searching and posting and I kept the area close to my house hot, constantly walking and calling for him. A week passed and no sign of him so in desperation one morning, I took a bottle of catnip spray and saturated the fence to my back yard with it since he had sneaked out into the backyard. Evening came and I was feeling hopeless and like giving up, but by night, there he was looking into the back door like "THERE you are!!! I've been looking EVERYWHERE for you!!" My Simba loved catnip though so I guess it was his motivation. Just try not to lose hope because sometimes apparent miracles do happen!! 🙏

Hartt will likely only help you with flyers and they will tell you don't put a reward on them and in that neighborhood that's exactly what you need. So to be honest I wouldn't sign up because you simply need to put flyers with a cash amount on your neighbor's houses. If somebody picked him up they will probably bring him forward for 40 to 50 dollars. Everyone can use extra cash right now. And it's more important than a kitten if he just got out if it's been a week or so once they bond with the animal they will not return for the reward

Sariah Ramirez if people are driving through the neighborhood and see a kitten that small outside they will likely take it and take it home. They probably figure what kind of owner would have let a kitten this small be outside by itself. They're not a good owner so I'll take it home and make sure that it's safe. So now you have your work cut out for you to figure out who that was.

Sariah Ramirez pull up Google maps put a pin on the map where your house is and then zoom out a bit take a screenshot put that in here as well that way people close to you know where. Put it on next door and neighbors by Ring app those are the people on your street and the next one over that are likely to see your cat. This website is not going to do it. PB is not going to cut it. Next door and neighbors by ring three times a day. Picture of your cat screenshot with the pin on the map and reward should be first in your post with the amount people ignore the word reward only

Sariah Ramirez knock on your neighbor's doors ask them to check their cameras if they have them Put a reward that will get people's attention in that neighborhood. He's probably within three houses or less from your house. If anyone's got pit bulls and he goes in their yard they could get him or other dogs sometime Huskies go after cats as well. It's important you find him quickly so knock on doors make a flyer 40 to 50 dollar reward phone number and picture of him put it on everyone's garage or something so they can't miss it when they come home.

Sariah Ramirez Cats- hi Some general information: Stay off Lost Pet websites. They are too spread out. When we lose a cat the goal is not to let 200 random people somewhere in Arizona know that we are missing a cat. 😉 The goal is not to get the word out to people 20 to 40 miles away.😉 The goal is: To let people on your street know. To motivate them to look and let you know. See cats are usually less than 10 houses from home. A frightened or roaming cat will often hunker down in fear somewhere and stay there. Usually within a 3-to-5 house radius if they are indoor-only. They often do not come out even when you call them. Also, it's very important if you live in a coyote zone that you start knocking on neighbor's doors immediately. Don't just wait for your cat to show up. Knock on the door ask them to check their backyard while you stand there and wait! You don't want to say can you please check and let me know because they often won't. Rewards WITH THE AMOUNT inspire people to pay more attention and go the extra mile. Even people that don't like cats will help for the right incentive. I would put $20-$40 REWARD Phone number and 1 big picture of your cat on a flyer. Absolutely nothing else! Not lost cat, nothing. Tape them on all the garage doors on your street and the street behind you. 🚨Do not leave the litter box outside if you live in a coyote zone it draws coyotes! 13-year Lost Pet Advocate
