Message from Owner

I went on vacay back in April, when I get back, they were not around. My Mom told me she gave them away, it was heartbreaking but I didn’t think much of it because I thought they were with someone, somewhere safe. I just learned that they were dumped not rehomed, I’ve been looking around the area where they were dumped for about 4 days now and I’m just wondering if anyone has any information about them. I just wanna know that they’re safe, thank you so much. 🥺

Check with neighbors and local shelters often and ask them to check their garages and sheds. Put out articles of clothing with familiar scents and do not put out litter it will attract predators. Call late night or early morning when its quiet with treats

A good list of things to do is on the Toronto Humane Society website, as well as (Click on the link www.catsinthebag.org itself.) Get signs up (not everyone uses fb, and the more eyes looking the better) and file a lost report with Animal Services and local shelters (and keep checking their listings). Make sure your microchip is registered, and your info is up to date with the company too. And here is some helpful info: https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/lost-cat-behavior/ Post on Neighbourhood/community groups, and be sure to also do a post on the fb group ‘Toronto Lost and Found Cats’

Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾
