Message from Owner

Salem’s cat-brother hasn’t been apart of our family a day without Salem and is visibly distraught without him. Salem ALWAYS greets us on the porch every morning and evening and always comes running when he hears his food bowls being filled. We think he got stuck/lost during the bad storm we got Friday 8/28, we haven’t since him since right before the storm. His family is worried sick about him and miss their sweet boy desperately.

I work downtown and we saw a black cat outside in our courtyard yesterday afternoon. We NEVER see cats outside of our office, and we know most of our downtown neighbors' pets. I went outside and called "hey kee kee" and did some pspspsps, but the cat looked at me and promptly skedaddled. I didnt have anything crinkly or remotely cat-related to lure it with. I don't know if this was your cat or not, I couldn't get close enough to determine gender or even eye color. But our courtyard is 129 Magnolia St--this is a pretty long shot from the last known / seen address that was listed, but a straight shot down that road, basically. I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for it today. Fingers crossed Salem comes home soon.
