Signs all around the area that the dog went missing in could be your best friend at getting your dog back, please post Large Bright Neon Colored Lost Dog signs with the dogs picture on them or at least a description of the dog on them all around the area and take Lost Dog fliers with the dogs picture on them to all Vets, Animal Emergency Hospital, Low Cost Animal Clinics (Animal Birth Control Clinic) Shelter and Rescues in case someone takes the dog to one of those places and make a Lost Dog report with the Shelter and check all rooms including the new animal intake room while you are there and check Rescues because some people will pick up a pet and take them to a Rescue instead of the Shelter but be sure to check back with the Shelter and Rescues at least every other day because they are only required to hold a pet for 72 hours and if the dog is microchipped contact the microchip company to alert them that the dog is missing and make sure that your contact information is up to date. Put some of your most recently worn dirty clothes outside on the front porch along with the dogs bed or blanket of where the dog went missing from so that the dog can pick up the scent to find its way back.
