Rene McCallum Check shelter in person every 2 -3 days minimum & please be careful with the trap. If it is not monitored with a cam and you can't get to it within 10-15min max it's inhumane to set. Plus this heat is a death sentence for anything that goes in and can't be released within a very short time.

Mandi Prather-Black I've been going out with a flashlight. Lol funny part is I probably found every cat except him. I've submitted a lost cat report with the shelter, done all the postings, about to pick up flyers and a humane trap. I know he's probably close and scared with the storm on Friday.

Rene McCallum That's good news actually, means he probably didn't go far but just hiding. Be sure you check with any neighbors around you, He could have gone into someone's garage or shed and became trapped and make sure you leave your number in case they do spot him for real time calls. It's also helpful to go out at dark with a flashlight to look for those reflective eyes and get down low and small spaces where it would be a good place for him to hide. Under barns, porches, crawl spaces, drain pipes, vehicles, etc. here's some helpful tips. Definitely keep checking the shelter in person and if there's anyone that feeds feral cats in your area could have shown up there too.

Mandi Prather-Black yes. He is strictly an indoor cat. He accidently got out Friday a.m.
