Message from Owner

Violet is 7 years old and small 5-6 lbs. Spayed female. She is a sweet cat that will probably be skittish to strangers. I really hope she's safe. If you see her, please contact me at chocoholic4469@msn.com. She is also chipped.

I am so.verry sorry. I hope that you and Violet are soon reunited. Please forgive me for pointing this out , but as an FYI for all, when traveling with a cat , ALWAYS have it in a carrier! Hindsight is too late! And tether / harness dogs.

April Harvey Schroder then it may not be yours or it travelled…lol on a serious note though it won’t hurt to check. I am unfamiliar with the area but the cat I saw was by the rest area coming from Tampa. I say 301/302 because I think that’s the exit # in proximity to the rest area. It won’t hurt to check. The cat didn’t look to be a stray and very skittish because it didn’t look like it was scared when it saw the lady except that it retreated a little bit to under the table area from my vantage point from the car. Nonetheless, I hope your kiddie is safe even if you have not found it yet.

April Harvey Schroder if where your cat was lost is by the rest area that is by exit 302 N75 I think it would be be, forgive my ignorance but I am talking about the rest area coming from Tampa which is either by exit 301/302 on the I 75, I saw a cat that looks like that color by the tables by the washroom for cars. It was a slight skittish by that i meant when it saw a woman who was wearing a neon color like an employee thing over her clothes it simply retreated to under the table and began to clean itself.

If that’s the rest area by exit 302 coming from Tampa, I saw a cat there the other night, I was wondering if there were houses there for it to come from, but, thought it might be dangerous for a cat to be around there. Looks like the same color from the car. It was cleaning itself and hanging out by the table.

Small diluted calico mostly gray cat lost with black around mouth If you have lost a cat read my first long paragraph. If you found one, Please read the last paragraph The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. Immediately anything with the cat's scent on it and anything that stinks of you like your smelly socks something that you sweated in overnight and your stinky sneakers even your dirty clothes and your underwear! Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week sleeping in the bushes and coming out at dusk Dawn and late at night. These are good times to take walks shaking the treat bag and calling for them. Cats can smell up to a whole mile away. So do that immediately and also put this on nextdoor. com and the other lost and found pet sites. Go on those sites looking at pics of found cats too. There might be a match. They tend to come home late at night or early in the morning so if you can keep a window cracked or a door cracked so at least you hear them. Good luck IF YOU HAVE FOUND A CAT: Please post this on all the lost and found pet pages in your county as well as all the neighborhood pages. Look on those pages just look at the photos try to make a match to someone that lost this cat. Any vet will check for a chip for free. In the meantime please give food and water to the kitty and shelter if you can.
